Nashville part 5: We're Getting Hitched

Who says boys can't crash a girls weekend? ..... In this instance I think he broke the rules in all the right ways.

Boyfriend surprised me so much, that I was in shock for a good day and a half.
We're getting married!!!

Nashville Part 4:

After we left the Parthenon we were on a mission to find Third Man Records - Jack Whites record shop. I went a little crazy on adding to my vinyl collection but so happy I did my shopping there!

Stopped at the Hatch Show Print for some posters and of course to play with the cats :)

The last morning we were there we stopped at Antique Archaeology mainly because I watch American Pickers and think Mike is the most gorgeous salt n peppered man. The place is fun and had live music, we only had to wait about 5 minutes to get in.

Nashville Part 3:

The second day was by far the best for many reasons. We tried to get to the Pancake Pantry but the wait was a little too long for our stomachs so we ate at a little place across the street that was delish! Next stop the Parthenon!

Nashville Part 2:

As usual we can't go through the day without many a cup of coffee, so next stop was Frothy Monkey. Great atmosphere and yummy cups of joe.

Our last stop before checking into our hotel was the 8th Avenue Antique Mall. We got lost for so many hours inside and found some real goodies! There are also three cute shops across the street you can walk to with funky furniture and vintage goods.

We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and oh my stars it was beautiful! It is bigger than I'd ever dreamed and somehow we always got lost on our way to and from our room.

Nashville part 1:

My sweet friend Victoria and I headed to Nashville for a much needed girls getaway, and Nashville - you sure can show a girl a good time!

As awful as it sounds, I was going with the mindset that honky tonk music would be surrounding me (I'm not the biggest fan of country) and I'd be entering into a world of cow hide and saloon slugging and who knows what else!

I was so happy to be proven wrong! Nashville is a place of its own. An oasis from real life and the cherry on top to any getaway.

The second we rolled into town we visited 12th Ave South. Such a cute hip area to shop, lunch, & lounge!

We ate at Edley's BBQ and had the best food ever, I mean look at these - !!!!

Afterwards we headed to shop to our heart's content! We stopped at Serendipity Emporium for some "Man Candles" and books/gifts.

We hopped across the street to my all time favorite thrift shop called Savant- hands down coolest place you've ever seen.

Imagine rooms and rooms and rooms stocked full of every too good to be true vintage find you've ever dreamed of and you've got Savant.
