Farm To Plate Movement

I just got back from a trip up to Cleveland for the weekend.

And now that I'm back I just had to share one of my friends favorite places to eat while in town.
(which is truly becoming one of my favorites as well!)
It's called The Greenhouse Tavern. The first certified green restaurant in Ohio.
Meaning they "follow green principles of organic and environmentally friendly ingredients while
using recyclables and highly developed methods of composting, sourcing alternate energy, and
focusing on conservation practices."
The menu changes all the time, and the service is amazing.
This time we were lucky enough to get seated downstairs next to the kitchen.
Best spot in the house. If you stop into town give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Highly recommend the following:

Crispy Hominy & Devils on Horseback to start with

Heirloom Tomato Risotto, Grass Fed Ohio Beef Burger, or Pig Trotters

and the Carmel Milk Chocolate Pot de Crème to end.

Yum!
